• The method of choice for many coating applications is arc wire spray.
• Because it simply requires electricity as power, Arc Spray Gun is employed in situations when fuel and gases are in scarce supply. Other than atomizing air, electric arc wire spray requires no process gases.
• Arc spraying offers the maximum flow velocity when compared to other thermal spraying techniques.
• In order to deposit inexpensive coatings with wear resistance or electrical and thermal conductivity, the thermal spray process is also used to metalize wire.

Arc Spray gun usually known as TSZ, TWAS, TSA, and metalizing is the most economical and productive spray coating among all other thermal spray gun.

It uses DC power to strengthen the two conductive wires which are positive and negative. With the help of a powder feeder, these energized wires are put into a gun head where both the wires arc opposite each other thus, making the molten material.

Coating done through this gun has a variable thickness; either can be sprayed at 5 mils the thinnest or at 4 mils the thickest coating. And if more thickness is required then the process has to repeat or we can say has to undergo multiple passes.
